Boards clean and binding firm, spine strip faded with small scuffs (see scans). Numerous interesting inscriptions/annotations to end papers relating to a family genealogy, annotations also to the preface, sound tight binding, tanned, foxing to the front and towards the rear of text, some index pages appear to have been repaired with Japanese tissue
