Boards grubby with several dark stains to both front and rear (see scans), edge worn, linen and gilt spine labels frayed and coming away slightly from spine strip, publishers inscription plate on front end paper, shadows to front and back free endpapers from turn-in's, no annotations, sound tight binding, pages tanned, coloured plates remain vibrant in colour, printer's error - folded and cut page corners to plates 13/14 and 15/16, (doesnot impinge on the imAGE) text block edges dust stained.
