Seasons Readings...Chapter 3

My final seasonal recommendation before we settle down for Christmas is ‘Igloo’ by Jennifer Burkinshaw.  Although not local to this area Jennifer lives not far from the mountains of Cumbria.  And her first novel is actually for young adults, a genre that we are slowly growing in our shop.

Igloo is a real festive Christmas love story set in the snow-clad pine forests of the Alps. Viv and Jean-Lou are the principal characters and the story moves back and forth between their growing feelings for each other and the reality of continuing a relationship living in two different countries.
