Quiet Tea and Quiet Coffee on it's way!

Chris and Elaine - who own and run Daisyroots Book Shop have, for many years, dreamt of opening a small tea room as part of their book shop. Well, their dream is slowly becoming a reality.  Over the last few weeks we have moved the Home & Leisure Department to our old shop next door and installed a small kitchen upstairs in our new building.  We still have some decorating to do but we are definitely on the way to creating a space where you will be able to buy a pot of tea, a cafetiere of coffee and a slice of something tasty!  You will also be able to enjoy the most gorgeous views across Morecambe Bay…and of course, be able to select something to read from our extensive collection of fiction and non-fiction. 

Our hope is that we can provide a place where friends can meet, spend time together and share their love for all things ‘bookish’.  Chris and Elaine would also like it to be a space for small, intimate events for 10 to 12 people.  So we are thinking up ideas for talks and book related events to start in the New Year.
