Nurture your creative side this winter!

The temperature has dropped and it's gloomy outside.  Most of the leaves have fallen and are now very, very soggy having been soaked with torrential rain for the last few days!  So what better time to keep your creative spirit burning by studying the artistic creations of contemporary British artists.  

For the last few weeks we have been processing a wonderful collection of art books; many are what we describe as artists monographs, like these below.  

I have really enjoyed reading books like these and admiring the stunning art work that they feature.  I am not an artist myself, even though I enjoyed art lessons at school.  However I can still appreciate the results of other people's creative  energy.  They really do inspire me, uplift me and sooth my brain, especially when there is some lovely gentle jazz playing in the background…and possibly a glass of red wine on the go…mmm

So if you like to curl up during these cold winter evenings, by the fire and with a good book, then please do give art books a try. You might be suprised by how good they make you feel.
