Did you know that Daisyroots Book Shop has taken the pledge to be a Green and Sustainable Bookseller. Integral to our pledge is our ‘BookCycle’ scheme. It’s a great way for you to recycle your unwanted or second-hand fiction and get a credit (not cash) voucher to spend in our shop.
The books you pass on to us will then be put on our shelves so other readers can buy and enjoy them.
What books can I exchange?
- Fiction only i.e. general novels, crime/thrillers, historical, fantasy and sci- fi
- The books must be published after 2016
- The books must be fit for re-sale. The book CANNOT be exchanged for credit if it has any of the below:
- The Author and the Title are missing (inner page)
- Any torn or missing pages
- Any stains (coffee, tea, etc.) or mould
- Annotations / Drawings / Pen marks
- Folds / Dog-eared pages
How much credit (not cash) do we offer?
£0.50 per paperback and £1.00 per hardback
What can I spend my credit on?
On other second-hand books in Daisyroots Book Shop. The credit CANNOT be used to purchase new books or gifts i.e. prints and maps.
When do I have to spend my credit by?
There is no time limit to spending your credit
